User types
TYO Reach has two account types: consumer and corporate. Your type is shown on your dashboard and determines whether your proxy is metered or unlimited.
Consumer accounts
Consumer accounts are the default for anyone who signs up directly. Usage is metered against a monthly allowance that resets on the 1st of each month.
| Plan | Monthly data | Devices |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 2 GB | 1 |
| Pro | 50 GB | 3 |
| Business | 200 GB | 10 |
When you reach your allowance the proxy pauses — there are no surprise charges. You can top up by upgrading your plan or waiting for the monthly reset. See Managing your data for what happens at the limit, and Plans & data allowances for pricing.
Corporate accounts
Corporate accounts are activated by joining a group. Groups are created and managed by a group owner (typically an IT administrator or business account holder) who pays per seat.
Once you accept a group invitation your account becomes corporate:
- The data cap is removed — the proxy never pauses for a usage limit.
- Your dashboard shows a Corporate badge instead of a plan tier.
- Your browser routing, gateway selection and other settings can be managed centrally by your group owner via the policy dashboard.
You do not need to reinstall the app or change any settings — group membership takes effect immediately after you accept the invitation.
If you are removed from the group, or if you leave it, your account reverts to your previous personal plan limits.
For group owners
If you are setting up TYO Reach for a team or organisation, see the Set up your team for instructions on creating a group, inviting members, configuring TCP port forwards for RDP and SSH, setting group-level policy, and enabling agent mode for remote LAN access.
