Getting started with TYO Reach

TYO Reach is a secure access agent that runs quietly in your system tray. For individuals, it routes your chosen browser so region-locked content opens up. For organisations, it creates secure tunnels to office systems — RDP, SSH, databases — and lets a machine inside the office act as a relay for the whole team.

1. Create your account

Sign up at reach.tyo.com.au — it's free to start, no card needed. Your first 2 GB is on us so you can confirm the connection works before anything else is asked.

2. Install the client app

Download from the Download page. The Reach client runs on Linux, Windows and macOS, and there's an Android app for mobile (iOS coming soon). On Windows, run TYOReach-Setup.exe — it installs to your user account without requiring administrator permission. See the Installation guide for details.

3. Choose your browser

Pick any Chromium-based browser — Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera — or Firefox. See Choosing a browser for the details. Reach configures only the browser you choose and routes only its traffic.

4. Switch on and browse

Click the Reach icon in your tray and switch it on. Content that was blocked or region-locked opens up. Switch it off and everything returns to normal instantly.

For organisations — going further

If you're setting up Reach for a team, there's more:

• TCP port forwards — tunnel RDP, SSH, database ports from your tray to internal hosts, with no VPN or firewall changes needed.
• Agent mode — turn a machine inside your office network into a relay so all group members can reach LAN services from outside.
• Group policy — push browser routing, gateway selection, and port forwards to every member from a central dashboard.
