Share this PC

Give an authorised person secure access to a machine on your network — an office PC, a server, an RDP box — from anywhere, with no firewall ports opened. A peer-to-peer fast path keeps it near-LAN speed when they're close by. Access is per-share: you add or revoke specific people, each validated against a real TYO ID.

Sharing your PC (host)

From the Reach tray on the machine you want to share, toggle "Share this PC" (macOS: "Share this Mac"). The status line underneath shows "Not sharing" or "Sharing active — waiting for connection".

To grant access: "Add viewer (TYO ID)…", then enter the other person's TYO ID (their email) — Reach validates it's a real TYO ID. You can add more than one viewer.

To revoke: open the "Shared with…" submenu, which lists everyone with access, and click a name (shown as "✕ name") to revoke it immediately.

Connecting to a shared PC (viewer)

From your tray: "Remote Machines" submenu → the shared machine appears there → click it to connect. Reach launches the right client automatically for the platform being shared (see below) — no manual RDP/VNC setup on your side.

Protocol depends on what's being shared

Share this PC is protocol-aware based on the host's operating system:

• Sharing a Windows or Linux PC exposes it over RDP.
• Sharing a Mac exposes it over VNC (macOS Screen Sharing / Remote Management).

For organisations — restrict sharing to your team

An org admin can require that members only share their PC with people inside the organisation: org dashboard → Share this PC — Scope → "Members can only share their PC with people in this organisation". Off by default; once enabled, Add viewer rejects any TYO ID that isn't a member.
